Barack's "Wise" Mentor

By now you have certainly heard some audio clips of Barack Hussein Obama's "minister", Jeremiah Wright. There can be no doubt, from any objective listener, that Wright is a racist, a bigot, and an anti-semite. The question, though, is whether Obama has been affected by the teachings of this vile individual.

Obama says that he has not been affected by Wright's racist teachings, but still calls Wright his "mentor" and uses Wright as his "sounding board." Now, I don't want to imply that I am imputing Wright's racism onto Barack Obama. However, it seems quite odd to me that an actual Christian would endure the racist rantings of a hate-filled bigot for 20 years, voluntarily, and yet not be affected by those teachings. In other words, if you aren't affected by the preacher's words, then why attend? It is the job of the preacher to affect the lives of his congregants. So for Obama to claim that he has been unaffected by Wright's racism, to me, is shady at best, a lie at worst.

Kyle-Anne Shiver at the American Thinker has an excellent article on the topic and I encourage you to read it.
